The Violent Youth "Distant"

The Violent Youth are a German / Russian synthpop duo from Augsburg, Germany, consisting of Arthur Tsymbal (vocal, synthesizers) and Egor Ivakhnenko (synthesizers). Inspired by 1980s synth-pop music, The Violent Youth create a melancholic sound. In 2014 they released their first album Loud and played their first live shows in Belarus and Russia. With their second album Discotheque the mood of their music changed, it became darker and the lyrics more profound. After Discotheque was released, TVY performed at one of the largest music festivals “FSP” and played their first European gigs in Germany and Belgium.
