Elvis de Sade "Angelus Novus"

After their first demo in 2018, Elvis de Sade have now released the EP “Angelus Novus” on Young & Cold Records. A collage of samples, noise, technoid beats and transfigured pop melodies open up the melancholic feeling of the present. A presence that, in its abundance, evokes melancholy and longing. Influenced by the Eurodance anthems of the 90's which are associated with the dark existentialist attitude of dark wave, Elvis de Sade musically stand for excess and decay - like their namesake: the pop culture tragedy Elvis Presley and Marquis de Sade, the philosopher of terror, amorality, and perversion.
